KL !

sunny 27 °C

Okay so just came back from KL yesterday..

Day 1:

Took the coach from Golden Mile to Jalan Imbi.. Took a cab to my hotel and got a shock when I entered the room. The Twin Towers was just outside my window ! The hotel is lcated right at the foot of KL Tower and hence very accessible. Rested and walked around KLCC. Took a lot of photos and shopped a bit. However, it started to rain so cabbed back to hotel.

Day 2:

Woke up quite early and took the train to Batu caves. Now, it was really confusing cos the internet and a sign at the train station said the station is under construction and need to alight at Sentul station. Furthermore, the station is not written at the KL LRT map. But decided to follow other tourists headed for the caves and the station is just outside the entrance of the caves! Going there from KL Sentral [KTM Komuter] is very cheap RM1 and going back is RM2. Until now, I cant figure out why going back was more expensive. Anyway, the caves were amazing ! It just rained so the steps were a bit slippery but it was totally worth the climb ! There were monkeys roaming around and flocks of pigeons were flying together. Totally amazing ! And i WILL be going back to the Batu caves again.

Trained back to KL Central and took the LRT to KLCC. Had lunch at Secret Recipe and took pictures of the Petronas Twin Towers ! And then I went back to the hotel, rested and met some friends afterwards for dinner.

Day 3:

Since KL Tower is nearby, decided to go there. Free shuttle bus at the entrance. Foggy morning but the view was WOW ! Kind of dissapointed though, the ticket is quite expensive. Went to KL Tower mini-zoo as well. It was well designed except that the animals were looking very sad [except for the monkeys ! HAHA !] Went back to my hotel, checked out. Then went to Plaza Berjaya, left my baggage at the coach office. Lunched at Berjaya times Square and coached back to Singapore at 3pm.

The queue at the immigration was very long and with those aunties who cut the queues all the time.. Was really angry but its over.. Reached home at around 11 pm..
